It’s not what you do in practice, but what you do after that makes you a better player. A cliché many high school coaches can be heard saying to their players in gyms all over the country. Some take it to heart. Even fewer find a gym after a team practice to get extra reps. Even less have the gym keys to their local church and routinely push themselves every week for another full practice after team workouts while still maintaining a 3.97 GPA.
